Barbara is a partner with Thompkins & Davidson, LLP. She is a member of the New York and Connecticut Bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Barbara serves as Customs Counsel to various importers and as General Counsel to the Gemini Shippers Group. She has been involved in various aspects of importing and exporting for over thirty years; assisting clients with legal issues in importing / exporting and international trade matters, exclusively. Previous to that, she assisted in the management of an international  manufacturer / importer, where her responsibilities included negotiating contracts, managing Letters of Credit, establishing and coordinating an overseas office; managing the Import Department, generally and working closely with the firm’s legal counsel.
