Carriers switch up Mid E/ISC-Med loops

   Ocean carriers are changing the rotations of three prominent services between the Mediterranean and the Middle East/Indian Subcontinent over the course of the next few weeks.
   Starting with the UASC Yas (ETA Jebel Ali Oct. 30), a loop dubbed the GEM by COSCO and Hapag-Lloyd and MEGEM by CMA CGM and ANL will, according to CMA CGM, have a revised rotation of Dubai (Jebel Ali), Hamad, Dammam, Jubail, Dubai (Jebel Ali), Jeddah, Port Said, Mersin, Piraeus, Izmit, Istanbul (Ambarli), Aliaga, Iskenderun, Damietta, Jeddah and Dubai (Jebel Ali). The loop will continue deploying six vessels.
   BlueWater Reporting shows the GEM/MEGEM currently deploys six vessels — three provided by Hapag-Lloyd, two provided by COSCO and one provided by CMA CGM — and has a rotation of Dammam, Jubail, Dubai (Jebel Ali), Jeddah, Port Said, Mersin, Piraeus, Izmit, Istanbul (Ambarli), Aliaga, Iskenderun, Beirut, Damietta, Jeddah, Khor Fakkan, Dubai and Dammam.
   Starting with the Ningbo Express (ETA Jebel Ali Nov. 10), a loop dubbed the IMEX by Hapag-Lloyd, MEDEX by CMA CGM and ANL, MINA by COSCO and WM3 by OOCL will, according to CMA CGM, have a revised rotation of Dubai (Jebel Ali), Karachi, Mumbai (Nhava Sheva), Mundra, Jeddah, Malta, La Spezia, Genoa, Valencia, Barcelona, Marseilles (Fos), Genoa, Malta, Damietta, Aqaba, Jeddah, Hamad and Jebel Ali. The loop will deploy eight vessels. 
   BlueWater Reporting shows the loop currently deploys seven vessels — with Hapag-Lloyd providing four, COSCO providing two and CMA CGM providing one — and a rotation of Khor Fakkan, Dubai (Jebel Ali), Karachi, Mumbai (Nhava Sheva), Mundra, Jeddah, Malta, La Spezia, Genoa, Valencia, Barcelona, Marseilles (Fos), Genoa, Malta, Damietta, Jeddah and Khor Fakkan.
   Starting with the MSC Alghero (ETA Jebel Ali Nov. 16), a loop dubbed the INDIAMED by CMA CGM, GEM2 by COSCO and IPM by APL will, according to CMA CGM, have a revised rotation of Dubai (Jebel Ali), Hamad, Jubail, Dubai (Jebel Ali), Mundra, Mumbai (Nhava Sheva), Colombo, Port Said, Mersin, Piraeus, Istanbul (Ambarli), Mersin, Iskenderun and Dubai (Jebel Ali). The loop will deploy seven vessels.
